Long ago, two warring extra-dimensional races, the Mineans and Dayaks, were forced to band together to destroy a powerful being of the Dayaks' creation. Despite taking measures to insure this mistake was never repeated, a new generation of Dayaks are now attempting to recover the knowledge required to resurrect this ancient terror.

The knowledge which the Dayaks seek is contained within the pages of an apocalyptic book. The final parts of the equation can be found in the Russian countryside of Chernobyl, where recent nuclear activity has opened a rift between our world and that of the Mineans and Dayaks.

Lucien and Andromeda, American scientists who are conducting highly classified research into the second generation effects of Chernobyl, are caught up in the conflict between the ancient warring races when they are exposed to the final pages of the Dayaks' book. Upon exposure, Lucien manifests majestic wings and superhuman speed and strength. Andromeda is transformed to a lesser degree, gaining empathic powers.

Now, a battle of epic proportions has entered our Earthly plane, and Lucien and Andromeda are caught in the middle. Thrown into unimaginable forces beyond their control, the struggle to save our world, as well as their very humanity, has begun!
