Jackal plays with the Carrion virus and kills lots of people, except for one guy who survives to become a DNA shifting being who gets named "Helix". Peter, having discovered he is a clone, teams up with Jackal.

Punisher turns up and shoots people. Jackal takes a bullet meant for Peter. Peter is now pretty much convinced Jackal is the only one who cares for him.

All four Peter Parkers have a party at the Jackal's place. Jackal plays games with them all. Kaine gets his feelings hurt 'cos he doesn't win a prize, while Ben drinks spiked party punch. Scrier turns up and does something to Spider-Cide.

Kaine talks to MJ and we get some insight into his motivation. Jackal sends Peter off to find the Gwen Stacy clone. The story is really looking promising.

Kaine and Ben fight the Jackal, Spider-Cide reveals that the Scrier has freed him from Jackal, and then kills Kaine anyway. MJ calls Peter home with a pile of Spider-Tracers. Peter brings Gwen with him.

Peter tells MJ that he's not worthy, then goes off with Gwen. Jackal starts his plan to kill humanity and replace them with clones. He decides to start at the Daily Bugle. Why? Drama! Spider-Cide comes to kill Jackal on behalf of Scrier and Judas Traveller. Peter, Ben, MJ and Gwen fight Spider-Cide and Jackal. The Jackal and Spider-Cide both die as Peter and Ben defuse the ticking virus bomb in an ending as formula as a cheap sit-com.
