Spider-Man: Funeral For The Octopus
This three-part limited series story
occurs shortly after Specactular #221. The Doc is dead, killed by Kaine -
before Peter meets Ben and Kaine. Ben and Kaine both actually take part in
this plot, unbeknownst to Peter. The story centres around the Doctor's
Arms, which have been taken to a government scientific facility.
After the funeral, it becomes a race for
the arms between Spider-Man, Ock's relative and Attourney (acting on
video-taped instructions from the Doctor Himself), and the remainder of
the Sinister Six. There's a few twists in the tail, so I won't say any
more about what happens - I don't want to ruin the whole thing for you.
