Captain America
|
|
In 1941 a sickly, frail,
weak man volunteered to serve his country in a highly-dangerous
experimental program. Injected with the hyper-secret super-soldier formula
and subjected to the stabilizing vita-rays, this weakling transformed, his
body raised to the height of human perfection. The
fellow was named Steve Rogers, and he thus became Captain America. Over
time he has become a shining icon of hope and determination, protecting
the weak, and fighting to overcome those who would extinguish the torches
of liberty!

Olympic-level athlete with gymnastic and combat
training. Steve Rogers is considered by many to be the ultimate synthesis
of combat skills, command, strength, endurance, and most importantly,
fighting spirit. |
