Selina Kyle is Catwoman, a very
good thief. While her escapades do occasionally help out Batman, she
admits that she is in it only for the money. Selina was taught how to
defend herself by the former boxer Ted Grant, who was recently revealed as
Wildcat (Robin #31). Selina first encountered Batman when he was in
a fight beneath her window (see Year One) and she came to the
rescue of a girl named Holly.
